DONT USE TRANSLUX/CITY TO CITY EVER!!!

I wish I could give them a quarter of a star rating because of what I experienced. I had booked a bus that was supposed to leave at 7am but ended up leaving at 11am, on top of that ridiculous “delay”, the bus broke down after about 40 mins of driving. We were basically stranded in Humansdorp waiting on a mechanic for over 2 hours, we arrived at our destination 7 hours later than expected and almost didn’t have the opportunity to do what we needed to do. Unfortunately I had no knowledge of how terrible this bus company was because I had booked a returning ticket as well. I thought somehow the return would be better but little did I know it would be worse. This time around the bus was supposed leave at 1pm but ended up leaving at 4pm. They didn’t even have a station where we were waiting, on top of that it rained the entire day so we had to find shelter like homeless dogs. The bus was supposed to arrive at my destination at 4pm so that I could catch a flight at 8pm but due to the delay, it left at 4pm and arrived at 8pm meaning that I missed my flight. Missing my flight meant that I had to book another ticket as well as find accommodation for 2 days since booking for a flight the day before is very expensive. So I missed my flight and had to find a place to sleep costing me more money all because of a dirty smelly old bus. You would think the delays they have mean they are servicing the bus or cleaning it but nooooo. Worse part is that when you call their offices, they never give you reasons as to why there is a delay. Sometimes they don’t even answer calls at all. I booked for a city to city bus but on both occasion I got Translux bus, apparently tickets from translux are cheaper than city to city tickets but we all end up in the same bus. This is ****************. I wouldn't even recommend this bus company to my worst enemy.
