City to City worst experience

Gravely disappointed with city city's poor service delivery

I bought 2 tickets to travel home with my sister on September 10th at shoprite and our departure was the next day at 7:45. To my surprise when we got to park station in Johannesburg, the guards by the gates at the station said buses are on strike. I was beyond shocked, how can shoprite let me purchase tickets while buses are on strike, and why didn't your organization did not alert or let these other shops/agencies not to sell tickets anymore until the situation with strikes has ceased and is indeed resolved. I was very inconvenienced when the City to City bus station office said they no longer have money to refund me and i have to go to shoprite in town to get my refund.

I went to shoprite and waited the whole 2 hours to get a simple refund! Until a very kind and patient manager at shoprite helped me and called your offices to get a cancellation reference number.

In future, make sure you consider your customers when buses are on strike and you don't make any efforts whatsoever to put word out there of these strikes. Your lack of effort is mere incompetence,next time do better because today was my worst experience with city to city.
