Bus cabin infested with ****roaches_

<p>Oh my God I actually don’t even know where to begin. It is almost impossible for a service to be this horrible. On Saturday the 01st of April 2017 I travelled in translux from Durban to Butterworth driven by a lady by the name of Hlengiwe. I haven’t taken a bus in ages but this past weekend I had to travel to Kokstad and later changed it to Butterworth due to change of plans. I was traveling with an 8 year old. Apart from the fact that seats are not allocated which leaves one shuffling and hustling between loading the luggage (which had no labels/stickers) and securing a vacant seat that would accommodate me and my son, what really disturbed me the most was the level of hygiene in the bus. I don’t know why such neglect has been put on these busses that transport tons of people on a daily. It leaves one wondering if our people don’t matter so much that they are left to travel with ****roaches that can easily get into their food and luggage. The bus I was travelling in was infested with ****roaches from seats to storage cabins. When I got off in Butterworth I had to dust my bags and my sons suitcase as some had actually got in the bags and our food (which I had to throw) as we do NOT EAT ****roaches. On the route I had to constantly stay awake to make sure that my son was safe as these were everywhere and it wasn’t from a passenger on the day – the bus was full of them from the first to the last seat and on the isle. As if this was not enough the bus was scheduled to arrive in Butterworth at 00:30 but only got there at 02:10am and no communication whatsoever was done and my poor pensioner mum sat at the bus stop from 11:30am – 02:00am not knowing what had happened to us and I unfortunately couldn’t even give her estimates as I also had no idea how long the bus was going to take.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am completely disgusted – to my surprise I had to come back on the same day at night and guess what – the same bus was on the road returning to Durban and the other bus I used was also full of ****roaches. Clearly the company doesn’t care to fumigate or properly clean these busses. </p>
