Broken bus

<p>On Friday the 5th I booked the city to city bus which left at 09:00 to arrive in Johannesburg at 16:30 the bus that we were travelling in was broken the compressor was apparently not working when the bus a went uphill it was travelling at 5 km/h literally the driver had been making calls from Pietermaritzburg for a mechanic or for another bus to be sent out but they kept on ignoring him he was making many phone calls and receiving calls as well but no help came I even sent an email whilst on the bus to customer service but I did not get a response. I am utterly disgusted by the fact that we were travelling on a bus the company knew has a problem our lives were put at risk and they do not even care, they could've ****ed is but because they have made the money our lives dont matter, we were on a bus that was not road worthy with a driver constantly on his cell phone and I do nor blame him Translux / City to City could've ****ed tons of people just because they did not want to send out another bus. It was mentioned that they were aware that the bus was faulty and this was reported before the trip. I am horrified at this and the lack of professionalism and humanity. I got to Johannesburg at 19:45 it was dark and there was no longer any public transport the reason why I took the bus is because I was not sure of the directions thats why I wanted to arrive while the ain was out so that I could move around and find my destination I didn't have transport, th staff was extremely rude and non apologetic at all it was they were trained not to care about their customers. I was advised to speak to the manager Steven but he was no where to be found. He had hit a run I was stuck in a city I am not fami**** with at night in an area that is not the safest at night with my personal belongings. I will never take the bus again and will be taking this matter further. I am disgusted at the attituded of the staff as Park Station as well as the fact that we were deliberately put into a bus that is not road worthy in actual fact they wanted to **** us or cause an accident which could've been avoided the transport department will be getting a letter from me advising them of this. What pathetic shameful service.</p>
