Bad bus reliability, arrived to my destination 7 hours late.

<p>It was back to school time so I booked a city to city bus departing from Midrand (N1 stop) at 4:15, 16 July, and arriving to Grahamstown (Conference Centre) at 7:20, 17 July.</p> <p> </p> <p>Firstly the bus arrived 30 minutes late at the pick up point.</p> <p>In the journey we stopped at a fuel station in Bloemfontein, can't recall at exactly what time it was but it was very late at night on the 16th. The bus driver told us the bus had broke down without really explaining the matter, we waited an hour for the bus driver to get a replacement bus. We hopped onto a new bus, with the markings of Translux on the side, and continued our journey.</p> <p>On the 17th at around 7am just after passing Fort Beaufort and Grahamstown being the next city, the "new" bus breaks down 60 kilometres from Grahamstown. We had to wait 6 hours for the mechanic to arrive and replace the fan belt.</p> <p> </p> <p>I was meant to arrive in Grahamstown at 7.20 am but only arrived just after 2pm. I hope the company could improve it's reliability as I am just an occasional user, only use when school closes/opens and it was not my first time encountering a bus breakdown with company.</p> <p> </p>
