I purchased a necklace chain on laybye for R4799 I paid and collected it on the 25th of Oct 2020 I bought it for my mom's anniversary which was last week I bought the chain as a 9ct gold necklace when my mum opened it she had informed me that the stamp says 9kt not 9ct and that she didn't want it cause all her jewellery are stamped 9ct 18ct and 22 ct I came back to jhb yesterday called the branch that I purchased it from and they informed me to bring it in i went to the store this morning cause they open at 9am the sales lady informed me that I should wait for her manager named Pearl cause she is in the rest room in comes pearl at 9.45 am 45 mins of me waiting and tells me 9kt is the same as 9ct on my slip it says 9ct and on the chain it is stamped as 9kt I told her why didn't the sales lady explain that to us when we chose the chain she said she don't have the knowledge of the product I then informed her that I don't want the chain cause the information on the slip and on the chain doesn't match she told me i can take anything in the store to the value I then told her no thanks I already purchased anoth necklace for my mom and I don't want that necklace only my refund she made me wait for half n hour told me there's no cash available for me I said it's fine but when can they refund into my acc cause I live far she went back on the fone came back and said she cannot refund me cause it's a month a half I said read the back of the sales slip cause it say refundable if there's a defect and I say 9kt vs 9ct is a defect to me she asked me to leave the shop cause she didn't work for me I tried to record the arguement and take pics she called the security to remove it from my fone so they did I tried talking to the area manager and head office I have the ref no for my complaint but nothing's being done gonna put my story on every media that I can so I can't see why I should pay for something I don't want thanks and disgusted Suren Moodley ***
