Hi,
I am beyond disappointed with the service i received from Toyota Eastrand,
On Wednesday (20/09/2017) took my car (Fortuner, WZS 603 GP) for PDC repair and Chinell - Miche van Niek was the Service Advisor, I spoke to the operator/advisor on Wednesday/Thursday when the car was in for repair i asked them to investigate if there is any problem with the car so that we can fix/replace and I was told everything is in place. Fast forward to Friday (22/09/2017) when I had to go pick up the car from the dealership, just when i was about to take of i noticed a crack on my windscreen that I was not aware of,
I asked the Service Advisor about it and she called Johann Folscher who came to me and i explained my problem as we were walking to the car to see where the problem was, he told me that the car came with a crack because they ticked it and i told him that I don't recall the operator/advisor telling me about the crack on my windscreen when she was doing her checklist and Boom he said to me if that's what I am saying it means I mean he is a **** because they ticked on their checklist that my windscreen has a crack, he started shouting at me telling me that my mother did not teach me manners because i am talking while he is talking and i asked if this is how they treat their customers he was just yelling at me...he then said we need to view the cameras to check if the car came with a crack, they viewed their cameras and as we were seated there he made a call to guys who replace windscreens and told me that they will come and replace whenever i am available, I then asked for a letter from a dealer to state that I will I am going to replace the windscreen just for security in order I am stopped by the cops as I was travelling to Limpopo that Friday and he shouted back saying that he is not going to bind himself since it is not their fault and I should be happy that they are replacing my windscreen and if i talk more they will cancel the guy since he is doing that out of goodwill and that i can take the to the ombudsman if i want as they have a proof that they ticked the windscreen.
The PDC device installed gave me a problem over the weekend and had to take the vehicle back today (27/09/2017) and it was really difficult to take the vehicle back because of the Friday encounter and all thanks to the service experience from Mr Johann my view on this brand that i used to trust and love has changed, it will never be the same, I don't think I will ever refer the brand to anyone based on this experience, you do not value customers and telling me that MY MOTHER DID NOT TEACH ME GOOD MANNERS is totally UNCALLED for.
Regards, Maanda
