window malfunctioning

my husband (Mr K Seleke) took his car for service at the dealership on 30th December 14. The car's windows where functioning when he took the car in. On his return when fetching the car, Charmaine asked him if he was told about the window, (driver's side) that it was mulfunctioning. My husband indicated that nobody called . my husband indicated that there is no way that he can take the car with a malfunctioning window as we were going on holiday the following day. The window was then temporarily closed and Charmaine then informed my husband that they will inform the head office about the incident and they will wait for their response to get permission to repair the damage and they will call my husband to bring the car.

To our surprise now, the dealership is not taking any responsibility. they now saying that that window was going to malfunction anyway, because apparently there was a fault (long story of switches that I don't understand). the dealership now says my husband should bring the car for repair and pay half of the amount to be charged. we are not happy about that decision because that window was working when we took the car in for service and it broke when with them.
