Toyota SA-Don't be fooled, the service is poor and they do not appreciate the "little man"

I bought a brand new Toyota Fortuner from Rand Stadium Toyota in Septenber 2019. This 2.4 GD6 Auto (4by4) is a really nice vehicle seeing as how I have been driving Toyotas most of my life. However, not long after the purchase, the car stood for a week in the garage. i tried to start it that faithful morning to no avail. I then spoek to the salesman who sold me the car and he arranged for Vaal Toyota (cause I stay in the area) to assist. After 4 days, they return the vehicle stating that it is my tracking unit that is draining the battery. This was the Thursday. I used the car on Friday. Exactly one week later, the same issue? Again I contacted the salesperson and the car was returned to Rand Stadium Toyota. They proceeded with the checks and came to the conclusion that their tracking unit, which I requested them to remove when I bought the car, was apparently draining the battery. By now, I had enough. I insisted that seeing as how the car was brand new and supp**** by Toyota SA, they should look at it and give me the assurance that my brand new family car would be as reliable as it should be. So yes, they sent their technical manager (or so they say) to check the car. To cut it short, I got a letter from Toyota SA stating that the car is fine. About two weeks later (after my fiance used the car a couple of times to JHB and back), on the 17-12-2019, guess what? Same problem!!! Now please tell me how am I supposed to have any confidence in Toyota SA and their product? I phoned their "customer care" centre, what a run around!!! The worst part is they refuse to put you through to any managers!!! So now I sit with a car that cannot start, they want to send a tow truck to come get it so they can check. Okay, by all means but in the interim, no courtesy vehicle is being arranged? At this time of year when you supposed to go on holiday? Really? Is this how Toyota SA treats their loyal customers? I have distinctly told their call centre agents (conversations recorded) that I do not want that vehicle bac**** The service and attutide to Toyota SA disgusts me! Needless to say, I will be taking this further and I will convey this message on every platform available to me so that the public and business know how they deal with people. For such a reputable brand that bosts and advertises dependibility of their product on which so many people rely on to make new purchases, this is truly pathetic
