Toyota SA and POPI Act

One star rating is too much. I bought a Toyota Yaris in 2006/7 We got pregnant and had to sold it to in 2007. I received an sms stating that i must change the airbag in MY vehicle as it posses a risk to the driver and the occupants. I phoned Toyota SA. What a slep. I explained the situation to Khyalethu. I do not have the Yaris anymore but keep on getting these sms's. I asked him if there is a way if he can remove my details from the system as i do not have the Yaris any more. He said that he will need the information of the new owner to do that. I used Cell C as an example and said if They phone me for a deal i ask them not to phone me again, and they remove me from the system. Do you want to tell me that a big company like Toyota cannot do it? It is really ****. I have asked to remove my details from the system. I do belief the POPI ACT will be used I get one more message.
