I bought a Land Cruiser single cab Lx V8 and realized on 3000 km that my vehicle does not have power after riding with a friend of mine that had the same vehicle. I took it for a dyno test and the outcome was shocking. Toyota SA advertise the v8 with 151kw and 430nm my vehicle dyno results tested 124kw and 421nm. The average bar on a turbo is between 0.75 and 0.80 bars my vehicle tested 0.56 bars. The matter was escalated to Toyota SA and the feedback I got was that the technical manager of Toyota SA send me a massage via the customer service rep that my vehicle is in spec. What Toyota SA advertise regarding the LX V8 is not what you get when purchase a vehicle of R 700 000.00. I will suggest that any one that wants to purchase one of these, make sure you get what you are paying for
