Toyota Rivonia (Sunninghill) are ********!

I share the below sentiments I saw on a previous Hello Peter complaint about Toyota Rivonia/Sunninghill. "Rivonia Toyota - myself and PLENTY other customers are unhappy with your shoddy workmanship, taking chances on peoples' vehicles but most of all on their lives as they drive these vehicles. Maybe a shutdown/new management/investigation, alternatively a complete overhaul, as no-one should be held ransom by dishonest people." My story: I took a perfectly functioning car in for service and in less than two weeks after the service the car broke down in the middle of the highway-risking my life and that of others on the highway. I have always prided myself with having a reliable car but since taking it to Toyota Sunninghill that has since changed. Mind you, when I think back, this is not the first time I have taken a perfectly functioning car in for service with them and they break it. This time after I received the car from service I felt that something was different (in a horrible way) about the car. It felt like something was missing. I immediately took it back to complain and they told me I couldn’t complain as they close at 5pm. I was told to drive home with the discomfort and come back the next day which I did. The following day when I was there to complain I was told the guy to complain to is not available/busy, once again, I was sent home without my matter being attended to! I must admit the complaints logging process is extremely frustrating /they make it difficult to complain about bad service. I took it for a second opinion and have been informed the plugs weren’t even changed. Rivonia Sunninghill are a bunch of ******** according to me! I would not advise anyone who is serious about the lives to take their car to Toyota Rivonia/Sunninghill for service.
