Toyota Mosselbay Toyota/Toyota South Afirca. You dont know what after sales service or any customer service......... You sell faulty vehicles to custoers and expect they must take the loss
I have purchase a Toyota CHR CVT 2018 model.from Toyota Mosselbay. I paid R289k cash for the car. I did not have the car 2 weeks and the car started to go into a shake and then a limp mode. Mosselbay Toyota was contacted and advised that they will come back to me. They came back and advised that the car needed to be taken to n mecanic working on the vehicle. They did a dianostic test on the car and it gave a lot of isues. They then advise that they will be clearing all faults and we must see how it gows. The next Sunday the car started doing the same. This went untill 3rd week if May the car went to the mecanic in and out and came back with the same problems, some times the car standed up to two weeks with them. In this time I have called many Toyota dealers and ask what this could be, the advise they gave me I gave to Toyota Mosselbay. Toyota advised that the car must go back to the mecanic and the will replace some sencor. This was done and the same problem car I recieved back. I was advised that the car need to go back to the mecanic and they will now replace the CVT gearbox. The car was at the mecanic until 3rd week of June. I recieved the car back. Just under two weeks and the car started doing the Same. By this time I was done. I contacted the owener of Mosselbay Toyota and spoke to him. He advise that he will speak to his service manager and come back to me. 30 Min later he and the service manager cintacted me back and booked the car in by the dealership. My car was more a less two weeks there. I recieved the car back and a week later the same problem appeared. I called the Service manager, the car was booked in by Toyota Mosselbay again. another more a less 2 weeks and I recieved my car back with exactly the same issue. Now i was totally done and Friday 4th of October I contacted Toyota South Africa to complain and hope for better assistance. I got hold of a Collin he advise that he will sort out. Mails went up and down. Last week he mailed me advise that my case is with there Management and legal team and I will have a full outcome by Tuesday 29 October. 29 October I mailed hime and i made numerous attempts to get hold of him. He then mailed me to say his regional manager is only back today and the the dealer is not willing to give close to R250 back but they are willing to negotiate with me. There previouse offer was just above 213k. This after they sold me a faulty vehicle.. I made more attemps to get hold of Colin but with no luck. I AM CURRENTLY SITTING WITH A FAULTY VEHICLE SINCE THE DAY I PURCHASED IT. I WENT TROUGH A LOT OF INS AND OUTS BUT WITHOUT ANY LUCK. HOW CAN IT BE EXPECTED OF ME.TO LOOSE 67K FOR A VEHICLE THAT WAS FAULT SOLD TO ME ND THEY CAN NOT GET THE CAR RIGHT. I NEED TO DRIVE WITH THE CAR DAILY THE MORE KM I PUT ON THE CAR THE MONEY THEY WANT TO DEDUCT. AA RATE AT R5.33.
I WILL NEVER RECOMENT MOSSELBAY TOYOTA AND EVEN ANY TOYOTA TO ANY PERSON EVER AGAIN......
