Toyota is not the best bakkie in SA anymore

Good morning Can you please forward this mail to toyota customer care. We want to escalate our complaint.

We bought a brand new toyota double cab in january 2019. Because toyota is supposed to be the best bakkie in SA. I am utterly disgusted in having to say it is not anymore. Since our bakkie reached 5000 km we started seeing chip marks all over the body. We could not explain this since we really dont drive much gravel roads. The reason for this is it sucks dust like a vacume cleaner. It is so bad that we suffer from hay feaver and sinus once we hit gravel roads. Then the chip marks dont make sense to us. According to toyota sa it is because we tow a trailer. This is bull****. We towed a trailer twice and it was on tar. So where do the chip marks come from? And if we were to tow a trailer the chip marks would be on the back portion. Why is it that the chip marks are all over the body? We even had a diamond coating put on the bakkie because we dont like scratch marks. We had a isuzu before the toyota and we app**** the diamond coating to it. We never had any scratches and chip marks on that bakkie and we towed a trailer a lot with it. When we bought the toyota we also bought a land cruiser to do our towing work. It has now done 54000 km and not one chip mark is visible. How can a new vehicle have so many chip marks after 5000km? Your paintwork on the bakkie has a problem and now you say it is normal wear and tear. We are selling our toyota in january 2020 and will go to vw amarok. I am highly disgusted in toyota. And your warranties and guarantees are useless.

I am so sorry we ever went to toyota. It is a total waste of time. Your klerksdorp branch tried in vain to help us. And I appreciate their efforts. But toyota SA is useless.
