TOYOTA extended warranty is misleading

I bought a Toyota Hilux 2023, GD6 second hand from a Toyota Dealer in George.

Upon receiving the vehicle, it was added to the Toyota App on my phone. This show various details of the vehicle, services etc, and I noticed that extended warranty is going to lapse end of Dec 25. So I decided to extend the warranty using the Toyota App, and opted for an additional 6 years at R10950. So after two weeks I noticed that the Extended warranty regarding this very vehicle has been updated, and the extended warranty has been updated lapsing end of Dec 28. That is three years! not six!!

I went to the dealership at Mcarthy Toyota N1 City, explaining the dilema, and was I told that the T&C's which still have not seen, states that extra years is added from date of registration!!

So I buy a vehicle that is still in its warranty period, expiring end of Dec 25, the new policy, 6 years, dates back to original registration of the vehicle in Jan 2023, and the the additional three years is added on, not six years.

So I have already paid for the first three year, now paying again for the same three years, dating back to Jan 2023, and then after Dec 25, the following three years are added to expire at end of Dec 2028.

How absurd is this!!

I have spoken to the service manager at Mcarthy N1 City Toyota, no joy. I then contacted customer service at TOYOTA SA, no joy..

What am to do??
