Toyota Disappoints

I Purchased a 2018 Toyota Hilux Dakar version for a Auction last year February at Park Village Auctioneers, Let me tell you i a LOVE Toyota.

There is only one thing that frustrates me a lot, Please correct me here if i am wrong. After i purchased the Hilux the first thing i did was i took it over to my local Toyota to have it checked make sure everything is TIP TOP and in perfect shape, i told them if anything is wrong to please fix it and i will pay for it.

i Purchased it at 112491km so it went for the 120 000km, 130 000km and soon the 140 000km all at my local Toyota branch, the thing that irritates me the most is the fact that i did aske them please to double check everything as i am not a mechanic or in any way good with these type of thing hence i rely on them.

I felt a bad vibration on my bakkie this last to weeks and phoned the Toyota branch and asked them about this they advised me to wait out the 1500km and they will check it at service time, against my better will i took it to a local Mechanic who showed me the brakes and for goodness sakes there was NONE left i mean nothing, at that stage i felt very disappointed because i committed to Toyota and to always let a Toyota workshop service my bakkie, the local Mechanic now gave a quote for almost half the price what Toyota is quoting me and after this brakes episode what else haven't they missed? i mean it could have been much more worse.

So here is my question as a loyal Toyota Customer, what is to stop me to take my bakkie to local Mechanic?
