Terrible service Mccarthy Toyota:Durban-Kingsmead

Last month, on the 15th November 2023. I booked my car with Mccarthy Toyota:Durban-Kingsmead for a service. I had a very distasteful experience after almost a decade servicing my car with them. After I left my car there, I received a call from a lady who was assisting me as a Service Advisor, indicating that they were trying to check my tyres and one of my lock nuts was broken, at first, she said because it was fixed too tight that's why it was broken, and I will need to get a new one. I asked at whose's expense, she said, at your expense. I said to her but how come becasue you broke my stuff. She further indicated that, they can consult their Engineering team to fix the broken lock nut at R1 500 extra, I told her I don't have such an amount because I was still going to pay for their services expenses. When I got there in the afternoon to collect my car, she invited her male counterpart in her desk, who also explained to me that, yes, the lock nut was broken because it was just a cheap stuff not genuine like their Toyota's and it had rust. I never had such bad experience from people who didn't want to take responsibility for what they did. I am not considering taking my car back there anymore in the future because of the terrible service I endured while there and they even decided to gang up against me with each other to support their bad service. To fix that broken stuff, I had to pay extra amount outside Toyota to get my car back in shape.
