I bought a car in 2018 from a Toyota dealership on my business name. All my payments where up to date until April 2020 and was due to the lockdown period. I had phoned Toyota finance to make arrangements for a debt relief and they gave me a period of three months. During this time I had to open a new bank account cause my current bank account was in arrears because of debit orders that never go through during lockdown. Also since I never received any funding for my small business. I had get back onto my feet again, so I made a plan B. I did however informed Toyota finance about my new banking details and filled out an amendment with my new banking details and sent it back to Toyota finance. I also phoned a week before the next debit order goes through to check if everything is correct and they have my new banking details, they said everything is correct on their side. Even though I had given them all the correct information about my new banking details, they still did a debit order from my previous bank. That debit order did not go through and they also did a debit order from my new bank account. That means I have twice in one month for my vehicle. I had phoned them as well as emailed them with response from their side. According to the people that I spoke to in their collection and service department my new banking details is on the system but was not updated by the staff from their collection department that received my amendment with my new banking details. Everytime I phone it seems like no one is prepared to sort out this matter. Either Toyota finance is ignoring my complaint or they just don't care. It is not my problem if they hired unqualified staff to do simple tasks. Toyota finance the worst ever .
