RUST TOYOTA FJ CRUISER DOOR - NO AFTERSALE SERVICE FROM DEALER OR FACTORY
Good day
Thanks for your telephone call today (08/03/2024 @ 13H45) Mr Cronje.
I do not accept telephonically feedback as it is not valid and solid confirmation and grounds of declined a claim or explanation of reasons.
This is totally unprofessional for a big name brand company such as Toyota SA or Dealership, Motus Toyota Cape Gate, to inform a client about a complaint in this matter after email was sended about this complaint more than a month ago and was at the dealership personally to put on recon the complaint with picture taken by you.
You did take the pictures and also said this is "definitely a defect in the manufacturing process of the door", after you yourself inspect and checked the other 3 doors that there is no sign of this as in the one door - Left Front.
You told me, to confirm your thoughts and to send in for the claim, what is wrong and why it happens only with one door, you referred me to a panel shop that Motus Toyota Cape Gate make use of all their vehicles if needed repairs or touchup or panel alignment. But unfortunately I know you as a person will deny that you did say that, because you could and did not even communicate to the client with the complaint, it cost the client to go back again to the dealership to ask you in person, "What about my complaint, it is more than 3.5 weeks......"
I need a letter from Toyota SA, the department you communicate with and the person details of Toyota SA that told you telephonically, as you told me with our conversation with me today, 13H45 - 08/03/2024, Toyota SA refused to repair my left front door(complaint) after the panel shop Motus Toyota Cape Gate referred me to for inspection and report and quote, by yourself and was sanded to your email, while I was standing next to you on the showroom floor. I also told you, the person at the panel shop you sent me to, "Also confirm that this is a manufacturing molding defect", and said if you have any questions you must contact him.
I am going to take it further and do not accept this, with the report from Motus Toyota Cape Gate panel shop that you referred to me to confirm, this is "DEFECT IN THE MOULDING PROCESS" and the door needs to be replaced.
Unfortunately this is unacceptable and I need contact details to whom we can send our email and conversations, and not the call center, I think I did wait long enough for feedback or communication from Motus Toyota Cape Gate and Toyota SA on this matter and deserve more respect and service than a "desk person" at a call center.
All emails and calls with dates and times will be considerate in our letter to Toyota SA.
