Rent a car - but only if you can afford to buy it
I am not certain if Toyota is Kinto or the Kinto mobility program was a collaboration, however I am truly disappointed. Things you should know about Kinto: The rental agreement is for those who have a good credit score. sounds ok right? So everyone who is unable to get credit, don't waste your time. I recommend that you invest in good walking shoes instead. If you have undergone voluntarty sequestration and have paid your dues and are now in the process of rehabilitation (Like I am) DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. In determining whether you qualify or not you are vetted like you are purchasing the vehicle and require finance. I have been renting a wreck for a couple of years now and cannot keep it up as it is a WRECK and needs constant fixing from the owner. I app**** for the Kinto program and the monthly rental amount is less than what I pay monthly now. All I can say is I am so dissapointed in Toyota and Kinto SA. can you imagine if this rule app**** to renting an apartment or flat? I think the streets would be crowded with homeless.
Anyhow just wanted to warn the credit challenged not to waste time on Kinto for mobility solutions. Better to catch a taxi and take your chances.. or visit Rent-a-wreck..... and take your chances
