Protea Toyota Bellville - Disgusting Service Ever.
I purchased a Vehicle for the first time at a dealer “Protea Toyota Belville” 7 January 2022, Denzil at Protea Toyota assisted with the sale and I quote (he never thought someone of my colour and age would be able to qualify for finance) then the same day of collection they add the number plates; upon doing so the lazy lousy DENZIL scratches my paint right through on the bumper and says he will get a touch up and sticker – I then make 4 day trips being postponed each time and all he did was just take an artist brush and fancy paint the scratch that’s even more obvious now?! (he advised he cannot take the whole bumper off for a small scratch it’s not his fault the pop rabbet gun slipped [excuses, sun was in my eyes and laces was untied]). Till this day 15 Feb 2022 I still don’t got that sticker or a call to collect, now how uncomfortable must I feel to ask this people assistance? especially if a small scratch is an impossible imagine putting that car together for an oil change/service would be a nightmare. Wait there’s MORE! within the same month the car has issues, the vehicle was shaking at robots when you at idle and this is something that should not be happening! I went to look for a DIAGNOSTICS – found error (Fault code) of a Camshaft sensor that I had to pay out of my own accord and the diagnostics due to the hassles I’m having with this Denzil guy. I then thought let me lift the engine oil filler cap just to smell the oil and it hit me with a MASSIVE sludge build up on the oil filler cap. I then check the oil lever and its pitch black oil! (look at the Workshop GERHARD BEUKES excuse for the oil being black “its aluminum block engine so if you throw new oil in today it will still be black even if you threw flushes in” #HISLOGIC However before purchasing this car I had to pay inclusive to the installments of being finance that the car is “#SERVICED” – the spark plugs was also then pulled by myself, and it is oiled fouled, to die out in the same week? I have all evidence and all the chats to this Denzil GUY and his comments was “it’s not their business to assist the car was already serviced”, I showed him the SLIPS and demanded a Refund for what was done by me because they didn’t do anything and expected me to drive a shaking car with bad oil an plugs to them an damage something further? DENZIL and GERHARD BEUKES (workshop Manager) declines the reimbur*****t, THAT Denzil guy is so afraid he never told his manager that I’m upset with his service, when a survey came out to me I rated honest that his service was ****NDOUS and wouldn’t want anyone to visit them, ILL INFORM all the call centers and people about this disgusting atrocious service! Now at this date they tell me they will have my windows replaced as whenever you roll them down they stick and shift and make all sorts of breaking noises, they mentioned that cannot be fixed and it comes out like that, the doors do not lock he mentions that it’s a “speed lock option” when the manual states its included and even the HYUNDAI. The spare key I was given doesn’t even work! The gearbox oil is “lifetime” you do a quick search and note that lifetime must be changed at intervals especially high mileage and their words was he cannot change that because they use used lifetime fluid in new cars too, wow WHOS going to buy that now? EXPOSED, all I want is my R865 back for the oil change and the spark plugs, that’s all I’m asking (I showed them the slips and what was done, not like them showing slips and I cannot prove it was done), also they quoted me for a smash and grab – what the car was then advertised on gumtree I have photos of it having smash and grab, all of this to make extra costs. to hell with the rest and I let GOD deal with them. *******S and send you for a run around consistently and run away on days scheduled? Who tells their customers “DENZIL GUY” (you the one giving bad service because you not supposed to inform us about the cars issues) so are you saying you know there’s an issue but you will only address it if I the customer notices it? WOW – I can’t believe he has the audacity to speak as he wills to customers, I hope this reaches his CEO, line manager and not some workshop manager – looking for anyone to act as manager now because he is afraid. He even stated that he used of his own commission for a full tank, according to all dealers that’s a requirement because I the customer pays R3500 or more on a Delivery fee, so don’t try an FLOW talk me. I left my car at them to attempt to tighten the windows and they refused to do it, a whole day + 4 days, messages only after I follow up of a whole close of business then says “oh yes you can collect the car all is done”, I get there and it was only a car wash done. Think of all that fuel up and down and taken for a fool is NOT ON. I want CEO to know.
