Prolonged promise for help

Given Toyota's reputation for customer service and reliability I'm being met with a deeply disappointing experience. Following the prolonged repair of my vehicle, which has been since October 2025 due to outstanding parts. After months of waiting I was advised to contact Toyota Boksburg parts Dept to discuss possible interim assistance, an ETA for the parts was only May 2026. I comp**** with their instructions and submitted all requested documents, after being assured temporary arrangements would be explored. Regrettably, this process was marked with repeated delay, inconsistent communication and unfulfilled commitments. I am frequently told that someone would follow up and contact me, that orders are being processed or that approvals are being processed due to staff unavailability. Despite these assurances I have to initiate every follow up myself. The absence of my car has had severe impact on my daily life. I reside in a mining town with no reliable public transport, and this has made it difficult to meet my work commitments and basic responsibilities.I've had to rely on lifts from others and incur additional expenses whenever possible. The ongoing uncer*****y and feedback has caused me emotional strain with many nights like this one waiting for responses or emails that never materialise. In an effort to resolve my concerns I escalated the matter to Toyota customer care, only to experience the same pattern of delays and vague assurances without tangible progress . The ETA has now shifted to 16 February 2026 yet I'm still being promised that management is considering how to assist me in the interim. While Toyota staff are constantly saying that they understand my situation their actions is not reflecting any level of urgency or empathy.

Would somebody please advise on how should I go about filing a formal complaint with the Motor Industry Ombudsman against Toyota SA for this case. I can see that it's all mind games Toyota Customer Care people are intentionally stalling (pretending to be resolving the issue while days go by). I receive one call where I'm told that I will receive a follow up call with a solid resolution but at the end of the day that call doesn't material. I almost didn't go to work this morning because my struggles to go to work are at play. Fridays are more frustrating as my son and my nephew need to be collected from the aftercare as schools finish early and I pick them up when I knock
