Poor service of Toyota AA Roadside Assistance

I would like to express my dissatisfaction of the Toyota AA Roadside assistance . I logged a call with them today as my car was not starting and the reference number for the query was ***. Mr Hendrik Schoeman from T Towing company collected my vehicle without even doing minimum checking of whether there is battery failure or twhaetver their minimal checks are. So he comes collect the car and tow the car to the nearest dealership in Pinetown branch. When the arrives the Service Manager Mr Dave advise him that their dealershiop service department is not working their are on lockdown...so Mr Schoeman does not call me to advise me nor call AA Roadsie assistance as I indicated to him that other dealership are opened as I wanted my car to be sent to where I bought the car. So even when he has been advised my service manager at the Toyota branc he does not advise me to seek for alternatives as I cannot be waiting for may for 22 days after lcokdown to determine what wrogn with the car.

I then receive a call to state I must come sign documents and when I arrive at the delearship only then I found out my car cannot be sorted as the delearship is closed and am like there are more then 5 dealership around Durban operating why culdnt the Towing company advise me.. I waited 4 hours to get the necessary assistance. I phoned the Toyota helpne roadsise assistance several times and they inidiacted I must fone the relavent delearships that are opened to authorize for them to re tow my car...

When the AA Roadside assistance themselved didn't honour provided customer services it must now be my problem to get roadsiet assistance to tow my car to the dealership where the workshop is opened.

The Service Manager at Toyota Pinetown Dave has been the only person that escalated the matter to Head Office and he even tried in his best to get his workshop guy to come from home to try figure out what the problem is with my car. While waiting for Head Office to authorize to get towing company to assist. I waited almost 3 hours at dealership so thanks to the workshop guy that works at Pinetown Dealership he then figure out it was battery.

I rushed to battery centre to get ti sorted and only then it was sorted. Now you tell me what is the purpose of us using the AA Roadse assistance if they cannot be doing bear minium to help customers.

I will def discontinue Toyota services if this shall happen again I can consider purchasing other cars from other brands if customers will not be assisted.
