Poor Service-Mortimer Toyota Newcastle
On Tuesday the 21st of December 2021 I visited Mortimer Toyota Newcastle for service on my vehicle. The persons assisting me was Steven Van Aswegen. I left the vehicle in the morning at about 8:00. Throughout the whole day I wasn’t contacted by Mr Van Aswegen when I realised it was almost 17:00 I decided to phone the service centre and make enquiries but I couldn’t get through to him and left a message at reception that he contact me. Looking at the time I decided to go to the dealership and make enquiries in person. Upon my arrival the vehicle was ready and Mr Aswegen when asked said he had attempted to phone me but couldn’t reach me. In the morning when I dropped of the vehicle he had me sign an order form and I was informed that I’d pay no more than R3100,00. To my surprise when I went to pick the vehicle up I paid an amount of R3206,20 and wasn’t even told what had been done on the vehicle. One of the lights on the front of the vehicle needed to be replaced but that wasn’t done either. Mr Aswegen did not show any courtesy towards me as a customer, he seemed unbothered even when I told him that I would complain regarding his behaviour.
