Poor Service

On 21st March 2017 I purchased a Mercedes C63 from herm**** toyota later that day I notified the salesman that the wheel alignment was out of the vehicle and he advised that I should have it seen to in cape town as I am in cape town and they are based in herm****. A few days later the warning light went on and I notified the salesman about it I was then advised to have it seen to, I took it to a mercedes benz approved workshop where they advised it was the alternator and that it would take a few days to source the alternator. A few days later I collected the vehicle and sent the invoice to the salesman as discussed. The invoice for the alternator came to R5000.00 later the salesman notified me that Herm**** Toyota will not be paying for the repair as they did not make alot of money on the vehicle as they paid a high price for it as the previous owner traded it in for a fortuner. I then called the sales manager who told me he was not aware of this till he received the invoice and that clients do things like this because they look for money and that I should call back as he needed to think about it. When I called back a day later he only wanted to pay half and I refused it as I only had the vehicle a few days when it happened and then he told me that I should stop swearing of which I was not. The sales manager was not aware that he was on speaker phone and that I had people listening to the conversation who can comfortably say I was not rude or using foul language in anyway. A day or 2 later after I collected the vehicle from the workshop the engine light came back on and I took it back to the workshop I was then notified that the differential was faulty and that there was water in the oil of the engine. I sent the quote of R105 000.00 to the salesman and the salesmanager who said that unfortunately its out of warranty and that they are unable to assist. However the salesmanger then said I should take it to Mercedes Benz for an assessment now thinking that they would assist. Mercedes Benz then picked up the same faults as the previous workshop but did state that the engine must be stripped to do a proper assesment and that there would be a cost involved. I then notified Herm**** Toyota about the cost and they refused to assist with the matter. Not once have they made contact to assist or resolve this issue. I even contacted the dealer principal who was of no help at all. I notified Toyota South Africa about the issue who then stated it was the dealserships responsibility as it was a sales problem even though I told them I felt discriminated against. I would not recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from Herm**** Toyota because if they could do a deal like this with me how do you know it cant happen to you or how do you know that they have not done this previously to someone else? I have lodged a complaint with the ombudsman and await their response. Its sad that Herm**** Toyota are more concerned about their profit than providing proper service or making sure that their clients are sorted. Keep in mind I only had this vehicle in my possession for about 13 days before it started having all these issues and I have proof of everything,it has been standing ever since. So I dont understand how I could be out of the 30 day warranty as thier management claim. Lets see what the CPA does.
