Parts take over a month to be available at dealership

Seems like it is a regular thing for Toyota to take over a month to deliver parts to dealerships.

It is the second time now that I require parts from Toyota that they do not have in stock at the dealership and then the quoted time for it to be available is over a month, just to get the part, let alone having it been installed.

My car has been at Toyota Tokai nearing 2 months because it took the dealership over 2 weeks to give me a quote on repair, then I had a battle with a warranty company to pay their part, and during this time I was told by Toyota that it would take 3 days for them to get the parts. Once the warranty was sorted out, Toyota Tokai then ordered the parts.

Once the 3 days have elapsed, I was then told by Toyota that it would take another month for the parts to arrive in the country and who knows how long for it to arrive at the dealership and the car to be repaired.

I brought up the matter with them that it is ridiculous for parts to take that long and me to be without my only car for over 2 months, and they had no sympathy and the service adviser laughed while telling me.
