Overcharging

Replacement of Break discs front and back.<br> I brought my LC Prado (reg # ZJH734GP) in for a service on the 14th Dec 2015. The service adivisor phoned my and gave me a quote of more than R7000 to replace my discs. This is unacceptable.<br> I phoned her today 22nd Dec 2015 and she now tells me that she also include the wiper blades in the quote. Hence the large amount. I didn't ask her nor remember the quote for wiper blades. Never the less. She told a me that the quote for just the break pads are more than R5000. Even this is ridiculously high. According to her the cost of of the front pads are approx R900 and the Cost for the back pads are R1400. Total of approx R2300. Labour is just over R1100. Total cost of R3300. She told me that my font and back discs had to be skimmed. I personally checked my back discs and they do not have to be skimmed. There is not even the slightest rim. I do not blame her as she just give me the details from technician. <br> <br> I had someone else replaced both from and back breakpads with genius Toyota parts and it cost me R2500. I find the Toyota quote utterly rediculous and would like an explanation why Toyota is trying to rip me off.<br> <br> Regards,<br> Pierre Joubert
