NTT Toyota Delmas Horrible Customer Service
My name is Yvonne ive experienced a horrible customer service from NTT Delmas Toyota to this day im still fighting a battle for my vehicle to get fixed. I really need someone at the senior level who can step in and assist me regarding this matter.
I bought Toyota Hiace minibus 2022 year model for R569 000 on the 23 May 2024 , i paid R28 500 deposit. For the very first time i drove the vehicle to my place, on the way i picked up that there is an issue with the rear door it was loose , squishy noise at the rear bearing and oil leak. Then i brought it to their attention . Ive spoken with the sales lady by the name Nicolene , she referred me to workshop manager Juan Smith.
Juan adviced me to bring the car to Delmas , of which i didn't have a problem with that , he sent the driver to fetch the vehicle. They kept it for 2 Days. On the arrival i tested the rear door it was locked completely didnt open up. The squicky noise was still there , basically it was from better to worse. I contacted Nicolene then as usual she reffered me to Juan, he didn't have answers he just told me they will see what the I contacted him the following week , he told me to bring the car again , he claimed that the driver was on leave i should drive and bring the vehicle myself.
I refused i told him that first of all i have other commitments and secondly it is so unfair for me to be driving the vehicle from Krugersdorp to Mpumalanga at my expense. Ive lost 262 mileage on the clock without any compensation and he expects me to waste another 262 mileage, so basically I'm taking a punch of their mistakes. So i suggested that he book in the vehicle at nearby Toyota westrand. He agreed in the end after he took me from pillar to post. He booked appointment but apparently Juan told the workshop guys to specifically check the door not other issues that i mentioned to him. Basically he refused to fix other issues. He keeps on insisting that i should bring the car to Delmas .So its a back and forth situation. I ended up agreeing that i will bring the car during September school holidays as i didnt have a during school holidays as i was using it for scholar transport.
So as time went by ive picked up other issues like sliding door stopped working out of nowhere it is permanently locked from inside only opens up from outside. The sliding door window also not opening up, over and above that car vibrates continuously when im driving.
Then i decided to book it at toyota westrand as as it was due for service. The diagnostic report states that the rear brake pads are finished, propshaft needs to be repaired hence the car vibrate when i accelerate , and beside that i have other issues listed on the quote . Now i find it very strange that on their checklist everything was a tick. Just yet he keeps on insisting that i should drive the car to Mpumalanga even though i explained to him that the car has a major issue i cant drive it for longer than 2km. He literally refused to get my car be repaired by toyota westrand branch and i just don't get it!
Juan keeps on dragging this whole thing and he is not helpful at all, he ignores my calls most of the time and he is not willing to meet me half way.
So now the vehicle is sitting in my garage i cant drive it for longer than 2kms becauseit vibrates continuosly , Juan still expects me to drive it to to Delmas regardless of the state of the vehicle. He just don't care!!
I bought a vehicle for R569 000 and within a space of 3months i cant drive it Wow !! Juan is refusing to book it at our nearest Toyota dealership come month end Toyota will debit R11 895 from my account.
This is ridiculous! Its a shame to see a big company like Toyota treating customers in that manner. I regret the day i walked in that dealership !!! I wouldn't be in this situation right now.
Im off the view that Toyota sold me a vehicle knowing very well that it had issues .This is a complete ****! I've never experienced such horrible customer service in my life. Shame on you Toyota!! Im going to expose you in every social media platform until you do the right thing.
