Monument Toyota

I am terribly disappointed with the all round service I have received from Monument Toyota.

I recently purchased a new Toyota Hilux bakkie from the dealership and from the new car sales to the service has been horrific.

I have already raised the new car sales issue.

After purchasing the vehicle I identified a few minor defects as listed below:

1). There was a slight paint imperfection on the vehicle. 2). The gear nob had a small plastic piece on it and was annoying to drive. 3). The USB disconnected from the phone intermittently. It seems to loose contact when it is wiggled by the port.

So after bringing the vehicle in once I was told

1).There is nothing wrong with the USB port. 2). They needed to order a new nob 3). The vehicle needs to go into the panel beater.

I then was contacted and told to bring the vehicle back in. Which I was happy to do. I requested a loan vehicle as my car would be in for sometime.

Apon arriving at the dealership I was asked if I needed a lift and I mentioned the loan vehicle and then the agent scurried off to collect a loan vehicle. On arrival the vehicle was dirty and also empty.

A few days later I was contacted by the dealership to say my vehicle was back and I mentioned what about all the diesel which was riden out to and from the panel beaters as this is fixing a factory default. I was told they would speak to the service manager.

When ariving today I was shown the vehicle which had to be spray painted by the panel beater which seemed to be in order.

However on entering the vehicle the rubber matts where missing. I also asked about the USB ports and told that all the vehicles do that. Is that not a campaign?

After discussing the missing mats with the dealership I decided to leave and to my surprise my diesel was not replaced and also the entire gear nob was loose after they replaced it.

They promptly fixed it. I was told the mats may have been put in another vehicle

The question I have got is this the experience which you would like new customers to the brand experiencing. I have been with VW for years and I have never experienced anything like this.

This dealership is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with in my life.

They seem to be allergic to putting any diesel or petrol in any vehicle.

Their communication is non existence.

Also I am done with apologies. What can you do to change my mind about my new purchase?
