*********** service

My brand new toyota hilux on the 3rd of March 2017 for its first 10000 km service. My service Advisor was a lady called Ronel. She never gave me a call and advised me that the brake pads needed to be changed. So I took the bakkie....used it up until last week, when all of a sudden I could hear a metal on metal sound when breaking.I took it in they replaced the break pads and Ronel told me in need to replace discs which they did not have in stock and the other alternative was to in the meanwhile skim the discs which costed me an extra R400.I told her that I was not told about the brakes and she told me that it was written on my invoice....which was not even pointed out to me when I collected the vehicle after its first service. Now I need to pay with one person's negligence, which could have been avoided and I would have replaced immediately.I had 5percent left on my brake pads and would be a fool not replace if the service Advisor told me to do so.

Reviewer Update

Till today not a single person has contacted me to show the even slightest concern about a customer review and on top of that a lady called regarding the service at the dealership, before I published this review and when I told her the complaint she guaranteed that she would follow up with the service manager. Thanks so much toyota for *****ing over a new customer!
