Fuel Pump debacle
I dropped off my car at Toyota Strijdom Park on the 21st of October 2017, on the same day I was made aware that the car has a fuel pump issue and I asked them to go ahead and order the part. I was then contacted with a delivery date of the 31st of August as per Toyota. After numerous calls etc the pump was only delivered on the 11th and it was incomplete. I then wrote and email to the dealer principle who tasked Frans his Part manager to get me the pump. After several calls the pump was fitted (on the 11th of Sept) and then the surprise. Despite all the delays, me loosing my uber driver an the driver loosing his Job I was charge about R1400 more because they had to get the missing part from another dealer. I refused to pay the extra and they refused to discount it to the original price that I was charged. Today I went to the dealership and they told me the complete pump was still on back order with Toyota and they had to eta on the part. Next week will be 2 months since I dropped my card (R2800 x 8) worth of business lost, one additional SOUTH AFRICAN RENDERED UNEMPLOYED AND YET I AM BEING ASKED TO PAY FOR SOMEBODIES MISTAKES. I FIND THIS DISGUSTING
