Do NOT trust report you receive from Toyota

Car has been to Toyota Constantia for a 150k km service on 8 April 2016. Service adviser (Alastair Hoey) reported back on the car front ball joints, wheel hubs and wheel bearings need URGENT replacing, he even went as far as giving me a ridiculous quotation of over R13k to have these \fixed\". I took the car to supa quick for a second opinion as there are no signs of the above being damaged to me - I do drive the car everyday and I am aware of signs of a damaged suspension. Supa Quick Constantia opened out the parts and had this inspected with confirmation of nothing being wrong with these parts. I obviously had to pay them for this, over R1400. Do not believe Toyota as they are *****. They ask you to change stuff that doesn't need to be changed. I will never use this branch again and I would like corrective action taken against this service adviser. Someone needs to contact me urgently regarding this matter or I shall take this up even further."
