Dangerous, defective, and rusted BRAND NEW TOYOTA HILUX

ONE STAR: Dangerous, Defective, and Rusted Vehicle! I purchased a brand new vehicle from Algoa Toyota expecting reliability and quality. What I received is frankly, a death trap. This is not just poor quality control; this is an urgent safety warning to potential buyers. The vehicle was faulty from day one. It's been almost a year of dealing with this utter nightmare. I cannot stress enough how dangerous the driving issues are: the car constantly and aggressively forces a steer to the right, requiring continuous, forceful correction to stay in the lane. This is a severe alignment or suspension defect that makes driving terrifying. Furthermore, the gearbox often fails to change gears or, worse, sometimes the vehicle just won't move at all. On other occasions, it exhibits jerky, unforeseen movement while driving, making me and my passengers feel completely unsafe. Beyond the catastrophic driving faults, the build quality is inexcusable for a new vehicle. RUST is already visible and some parts have been changed, and unbelievably, parts from the gearbox have actually been falling off while I am driving. I would get out of the vehicle to pick up the broken elements and send a picture to the technician/ service provider. They would just book in the vehicle for every setback. The bonnet is visibly misaligned, sitting open on the front end. After so many meetings and so many trips to the workshop, many, many services, I'm disgusted. Algoa Toyota sold me a vehicle that is not fit for the road. It is a rusted, malfunctioning, safety hazard that should never have left the factory floor. The experience has been a nightmare. I had my last meeting with the Dealer Principal and all they are willing to do, is offer me an extended service plan. Do not put your safety and your family or your money at risk here. Steer clear.
