Buy the 86... Great car until you need parts
After having an unfortunate event my beautiful car was sent in for repairs. Luckily for me, this is a Toyota, parts are available easily, it would take maybe 2 or so weeks... Or so I thought...
This was nearly a month ago today. My insurance acted quickly to approve and the panel beater of choice sent off the order form for parts. Toyota on the other hand did not. I have been informed that Toyota SA doesn't have these parts on hand. Not that front bumpers and headlamps are essential to a car. Then I am informed that parts are located but will take a further 7 days to confirm with the national parts warehouse?! (13/04) I am then informed how certain parts are on back order (17/04) parts ordered are incorrect (20/04) back order for parts not ordered (22/04) eta of parts to arrive at national warehouse (06/05) eta for parts to get to dealership (??/??) eta of me getting my car back (??/??) ETA OF ME SELLING MY CAR AND LEAVING THE BRAND (ASAP)

I have not been contacted by any manager of Toyota SA as requested just put back to original call centre contact! TATA CAN FLY IN PARTS OVER NIGHT BUT APPARENTLY TOYOTA CANNOT. 2 MONTHS I WILL BE PAYING FOR A CURTESY CAR. THANK YOU TOYOTA
