broken seat rail
Hi

My mom bought a brand new Toyota Corolla in 30 October2015, the seat rail broke, she took it to Maponya Mall Toyota, she is told to pay R3000 by the Lady called Moyo. Now can anyone explain to me how seat rail brakes on a new car. Is Toyota using inferior material to make their cars these days, Toyota is known to be a reliable brand hence I also purchased a Toyota, if seat rails breaks I'm worried& your warranty doesn't it kick in in such instances. How do u expect her to drive a car where she can move a chair. I own a Toyota Tazz that I bought in 2002, I move the seat all the time and have never experienced such. Please sort this matter with a matter of urgency. I know that is not how Toyota maintains
their relationship with their valuable customers. She is a mom, & explain to me if it's not ridiculous to say it's her fault she broke the seat rail, is it not meant to move the seat to a comfortable position. I don't even think she would have a power to break a steel seat rails.

Im so disappointed
