I purchased my RAV4 in 2015. In May 2016 I started developing issues with my breaks. I took it in for the first time. I was advised by the team at Alberton Toyota that the noice was caused by dust. A couple of weeks later I took it in again. To make a long story short, only at attempt 4 did they realise that there was something wrong with the pads itself. Apparently the pas surface glazed, so at attempt five, they replace the pads. I had 48 162 kms on the clock ( 26 August 2016).

The pads started to make the same noices a couple of weeks ago. I took it to a third party for inspection. I was advised that the pads were damaged and that it could be dangerous to drive. I mean my wife and child somtimes drive with my vehicle. This is simply not acceptable. Wonder what th emedia will say about this. I need this resolved. I have send a mail to Toyota via their website earlier today. Let's see how this will hopefully be resolved. How many lives are they endangering with poor quality parts?
