Breaks

I absolutely love Toyota, I have always brought Toyota but all of a sudden after having my car - which was brought brand new - for 2 years I have now been told my breaks and discs need replacing after 2 years, I have never replaced the breaks in any of my other cars which I had for about 5 years! How is this possible with the minimal driving I do, I work from home, am self-employed and don't travel for work, I drive within my area only, so I have no idea how this is possible, conveniently for them breaks and discs aren't included in my maintenance plan so I would have to pay thousands of rands! Which I do not have as stated I am self-employed and work from home! How is this possible?! And it is thousands of rands cheaper to do it elsewhere other than Toyota but then I void my maintenance plan! What am I actually to do?! The reason I got my extended maintenance plan was EXACTLY for this reason and now Im told breaks and discs aren't included in my maintenance plan! Then what is the point?!?!?! Is this how you make your money back or something???!!!
