Bad service, humiliation and victimisation

On 06 July 2016 at 8:30 am I took my 2015 Toyota Corolla 1.6 Prestige CVT for a service at Algoa Toyota Uitenhage. At 15:03pm I received a text message from Angelique Dolan that my car was ready for collection. I phoned her and requested to be picked up, she said I will be picked up by my car and transport their driver back so I refused instead I asked them to drop my car at my work place. The driver arrived and I inspected my car, it had scratches the paint was peeling in front, at the sides and at the back. I showed the driver the scratches and asked him what did they do to my car, his response was these are minor stone chips. I drove to the dealership and demanded answers, Angelique confirmed that she can see the scratches but there is nothing she can do since the service manager left the office early but she promised to report the incident and the service manager will phone me tomorrow(07/07/2016) the next day I waited for the call until I decided to call Angelique myself at 12:30 she told me that she has reported the incident she does not know why the manager has contacted me but she will remind him again. At 12:46 I received a call from Myan Maistry who had an attitude, he asked what is the problem because he heard that I am complaining about stone chips. I relayed the story to him and asked him to come and see my car for himself, he said he does not have time and all cars are out but he will see. At 15: 30 Myan came to my office escorted by the security, I showed him my car and pointed out all the scratches as they are visible. He said and I quote “you black people like to complain these are just minor scratches no big deal” I said they might be minor to you but I want my car to be in the same condition that it was when I left it in your dealership under the care of your staff. All I want is for your dealership to take responsibility and pay for these scratches otherwise I will take this matter further and report it to the dealership branch manager. Mayan laughed at me and said “ go ahead, no one will listen to you, the dealership branch manager will not even see you all he cares about is white people, he hates black people. Just because you drive a fancy car doesn’t make you white, at our dealership we don’t care about black people. And yes me and our dealership is not going to take responsibility, because why? I hate black people” I was so shocked that there are people who still has that hatred in South Africa not to mention a dealership operating under Toyota to be so ****** and treat its customers in that manner. All I want is the dealership to fix my car and not to be victimised because of my race.
