Bad service/*****/not responding

I have no words to explain how disgusted I am with the service I got from Toyota. I bought a Toyota Hilux early 2016 and after many emails, phone calls and text messages I will only receive my spare keys in November.

I had my bakkie in for a service the end of August. My steering rack had to be fixed under warranty, but nothing was done. Now I'm being told that Toyota does not offer courtesy vehicles while in for repairs - which they could've repaired while it was in for the service.

I emailed customer care in August and Toyota customer care never rep****. One guy mailed back the second time telling me they would attend to my query. After a few days I asked for a progress report but received no reply.

Yesterday someone from customer care contacted me and it almost seemed as if she was trying to make it sound like its my fault that the vehicle was not fixed. When I brought up that the last service was rated good by me (even though no one ever phoned me to rate the service) there was said that it must've been a 'glitch' in the system. I am not a supporter of ***** and would not hesitate to get my lawyer involved to sort this mess out. It's almost 2 months after my first email and I only received a call back now. I don't need to fight over the phone with a consultant who is trying to shift the blame on the client and can't waste any more of my time writing emails that I know won't be responded to.

I already lost a tyre and my bull bar is starting to get loose from the constant impact against the body. Bet Toyota won't pay for the damage. Toyota is very eager to take my money for a product, but when there's a problem you either never hear from you guys, or there's a long list of excuses.

I will never buy a Toyota again. It is a good bakkie, but the after sales service and the service of customer care is non existent. We are so used to not receiving good service in South Africa that it is not expected of companies anymore.
