Bad customer service

I bought a right handside plastic chrome piece that fits on the grill of a Toyota Urban cruise 2022, I paid R699, when I went to Toyota in Cape Gate they want to charge me R2000 for the exact same part just left hand side! Please make it make sense!? I contacted Gloria on *** at Toyota customer care on Friday as well as Monday, kept saying they will call me back!
