Bad customer service

Signed for a brand new 2022 Toyota Agya. But since I wanted it in a colour the dealer didn't have in stock I was told the car would take about 3 -5 days to be delivered. That was 10 days ago. Long story short when I first asked about this and what is going on, I got informed the truck isn't full enough to come through. Fair enough with fuel prices and all. 2 days after the due date for this arrival came and went I again asked about this. Only to be informed the car wasn't released because they lost the spare key. Now at this point I wasn't so happy anymore. Bear in mind I had to take out insurance and was already paying for something I didn't yet have. I contacted Toyota Customer care, only to be advised I should take this up with the dealer myself.. Why? I don't understand why I should pay for something and to top it, deal with the company's intern problems as a customer... Not happy with this I tried contacting someone else who might want to help me. Again I was referred back to the dealer... Again.. why? As a customer it is NOT my responsibility to deal with representatives a company has hired.. As a customer it is never my responsibility to have to deal with chain of command in ANY business After making another scene, I was offered a courtesy car. Here is the thing. I don't want a courtesy car. I don't want to be consoled like a naughty child. I just want what I have paid for. As of today I was reassured in a calm and passive way that I will definitely be getting the car 2 days after I payed my first installment...

Why is Toyota South Africa the only company in the world that does business like that?
