UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE FROM TOYOTA FINANCIAL SERVICES!!!

As a 60 year old lady with a CLEAN and EXCELLENT credit score through all the years, (who bought approximately 20 new vehicles in my life), and never missed one payment to any Financial Institution, I am highly upset with the service I received from TOYOTA FINANCIAL SERVICES today!

I've been (on my cost) on the phone with them for more than 15 minutes holding on waiting for the lady at Customer Services called "LERATO", to sort out an error made by TOYOTA FINANCIAL SERVICES.

In short, after they have received the monthly premium already on the 25th of June for the amount of R4,791.02, (AND AFTER THEY HAVE ACTUALLY CONFIRMED RECEIPT OF THIS PAYMENT BY EMAIL on the 26th of June), they went ahead and debited my account on the 1st of July for the same amount again!?

I quote their mail received on the 26th of June: "Good day Madam, We thank you for the proof of payment provided and advise that we have updated the account accordingly",

After sending 2 emails trying get hold of somebody to get back to me - with no response, and then struggling literally for hours today to get hold of somebody telephonically , (listening to Voicemail after Voicemail and then being cut off)!, I EVENTUALLY got through to "Lerato" who clearly did not understand the situation on my account at all.

She kept putting me on hold - and asking the strangest questions like: "Was the car a right-off?" WHICH IS TOTALLY IRRELEVANT!!???. She ignored several requests from me to talk to a Supervisor or somebody that can solve my problem.

I later just LOST it and quit the call, I was furious!, as she kept on talking over me, with her own perception and explanation, not understanding the background instead of listening to my side of the story properly - claiming she doesn't have access to the mails that I refer to that was sent from TOYOTA FINANCIAL SERVICES (confirming that they have received payment already.) Don't put somebody at Customer Service that don't have access to the necessary relevant documentation in order to solve a problem?

My point is - if a Client would be ONE day late with a monthly instalment, TOYOTA FINANCIAL SERVICES will immediately debit one with interest, but they can go ahead and debit my ACCOUNT with an additional payment, and then it is fine for me to wait till whenever they 'sort out' THEIR error, WITHOUT interest paid to me on the amount taken out of my bank account?!

Anyone can make a mistake, that I can totally understand, but then at least listen to the Client side of the story and try to rectify it respectfully with your Client instead of being rude and impatient whilst I'm just trying to sort out THEIR error to my disadvantage!
