TOYOTA FINANCIAL SERVICES

My dad passed away in April. My sister had a vehicle which he bought for her, but the vehicle remained in his name. It was ******. We contacted Toyota for the registration papers in June. I sent them all the papers that they needed. After drama and trauma, we finally received the original papers via DSV on the 22nd July. After attempting to deregister the vehicle, we were told that Toyota must do it, as the vehicle is in their name. I contacted them, they told me to pay R350 and sent the proof of payment as well as the registration paper to ***. This was on the 29th July. I called them in last week asking what the hold up is. I kid you not, I went through to 6 people, until I got through to a lady that said that they apologise, and that they will immediately see to it. Fast forward to today, and I get an email asking me the very same questions that I was asked in the very beginning. Now they want new information on their letterhead etc etc. One should think that this is what they should have asked from the get go. I freaked out. I want the deregistration certificate that I paid for, and I want to know what is the hold up every single time. I am stressed out and this whole thing is making me ill.

The nightmare continues with Toyota. They contacted me on Friday. Now after all this time they need a letter on the letterhead of the insurance company with a bunch of details to be put into the letter, plus proof of payment for the deregistration. I sent the proof on the 29th July, again on the 8th August and to the gentleman himself on Friday the 12th. This morning I was asked for the proof of payment again. A blue Monday it most definitely is.
