tihsa budget insurance and VAP policy from toyfinance
Good day I am 29 years old man I was involved in a car accident and my vehicle was a write-off. When I request vehicle finance from Wes bank I was sold a VAP cover I was told that the cover would assist me if the vehicle was to be sold or was a total of lost (write off) to cover the shortfall. In April was involved in a car accident with siyaya Toyota quantum in a position where I compromised by a taxi driver and I was told that the vehicle was below the market value and the best option was to take another card to get a replacement car as a budget insurance vehicle by an agent called Reginald mukhithi as a part of budget insurance vehicle cover if you have lost a vehicle in a car accident I used the option as I was told I would complete the monthly installments. When the accident happened I was asked to pay an access fee of over 10 000 the subject for 29 years old to pay for access it a subject for another day. What doesn’t sit well is the monthly installment as I have paid from May till December. The vehicle I was sold was way below the one advertised with kilometers and everything was ranging under R90 000 including access fees and a monthly installment of 3400. The car I had was a Toyota Etios 1.5 and I was told that I can’t have a similar car because of the shortfall and I recently discover that on monthly installment I was paying for VAP payment that in the tale that according to the cover this will cover the shortfall when I have the total loss for the vehicle. I feel like I was sold over price Suzuki 1.2 2018 because if there was fairness the VAP cover was to be exercised and I would have altered to be replaced by a cheap car and pay the same 3400 car installment from the original finance. I recently discover that amount due was 1,933.23 and advance payment is the original price that I use to pay for the old car. Wes bank still uses to advertise the cover and the changeover was not advised the updated installments because I only received the vehicle registration number a few weeks ago. I was using a temp license for May till November I was very treated unfair even Siya from imperial the sales consultant knows about how the details were not updated and waited for over 5 months to change from Toyota to Suzuki I have been paying for 3400 vehicles which the car has never been listed for that amount till today the VAP policy from Wes bank was never activated however I have to pay for it even after I changed the vehicle the cover had not assisted me to pay reduced amount Reginald told me I was to pay the original amount and that had brought me to complain as I was told that the VAP cover would cover my finance if I lost the vehicle I was to pay less installment from may till today If I had the cover and I won’t have to choose from less value car if the cover was activated. The agent didn’t represent Wes bank well I would be sharing comms from the agent how he handles the situation. I would like to find out what the new update installment now and the VAP cover to be activated based on the situation I was involved in. I was treated unfairly based on the choices I was given, the silence in VAP cover I paid for overpriced Suzuki because of the shortfall and crazy vehicle finance. If need be I would go to broadcasting complaints to be heard and another person to not go through what I did. My details are *** email ***. I wouldn’t have complained if budget and Wesbank didn’t rip me off 1400 for over 6 months I don’t complain but I feel overused and treated unfairly. The documents are to be shared and all comms via Reginald mukhithi. The VAP cover must be reviewed and how the situations are handled differently. And yes EFF members are to be addressed because they assist people who treated unfairly
