Total Ninja, More like Total Disaster
I took my 2 year old to total ninja Gateway today and it was a total disaster
The establishment advertised the toddler area as a safe place for kids to play but it was definitely not
Besides the long lines to follow, I informed them my toddler will be the only one playing, we made payment and we were let in
There was no one in the toddler area to supervise my child so I had to ask my husband to go in
About 40 minutes into his session, I get told that my husband needs their socks on to be inside, which was fine, I purchased him a pair
Next thing you know, the lights go off and there's only red lights on
Another family with kids smaller than mine arrive and obviously asks how will the kids be able to see where they are going? The employees gave us all the run around, lying that they have a light failure and need to call someone to take a look at it, calling one employee after the other until Andy arrives
We ask her if she's the supervisor and she responds saying no, she works in the area to supervise the toddlers
I then ask her where was she, she replies she was somewhere else . I then inform her that my husband has been doing her job for the past 50 minutes because she was definitely not there, to which she looks shocked
The supervisor arrives and then states that there's a glow in the dark party so the lights will not be switched on till 9pm, like really? She then tells me I was advised to buy socks and supervise my own child when I purchased my toddlers ticket, I then tell her no , we were not
In my opinion, the toddler section should be closed at 6pm to cater for these parties
One cannot expect a child that can't talk to understand what's going on or be able to call for help, that too in a poorly lit area! Staff there really need to be trained more and guys, please hire more staff, one cashier isn't enough (maybe if you had more cashiers, they would be able to take the time to go through the rules with us) neither are the staff on floor sufficient to manage the influx of people that use the establishment
