********* Overpricing and Poor Sevice from Torga Optical

I visited torga optical on the 2/2/2022 for an eye test and glasses. The ad stated various pricing for cash including eye test for two sets of glasses. On completion of my test which took a very long time, I was advised that it would cost on medical aid R 8000 approximately, the cheapest advert states 2500 approx cash. The optometrist and sales assistant were very pushy and unapologetic or able to explain the huge price discrepancy. I took my eye test and paid cash for it advising your staff that I am sure there are other optomtrists who do not charge an arm and a leg for a pair of glasses. The staff are pushy, perhaps earning commission on sales. This type of practice is unacceptable and unprofessional. I will never ever use Torga Optical again and will definitely advise my friends and family not to!
