TORGA IS RUINING OUR LIVES ( CREDIT RATING)

This is an ongoing issue going back to 2013 where a claim was submitted by Torga Optical to our medical ad.Below information we received from the medical aid with regards to what happened and we are now being held liable to pay for Torga's mistake and this has affected our credit rating. Please can someone SENIOR have a look at this matter ASAP !!!!!!!

Kindly note the accounts received by PPN were for two dependants. Dated 28/12/2012, 29/12/2012 for dependant 00 and 29/01/2013 for dependant 01 which were rejected for clinical information and stale period. Below are the PPN time lines for these accounts:

1. 28/12/2012,;29/12/2012 PPN statement 647 dated 2013/01/08 was sent to the provider with rejection reasons ,and PPN statement 818 dated 2014/03/25 for stale claim.

1.1 29/01/2013 PPN statement 658 was sent to provider with rejection reasons, and PPN statement 818 dated 2014/03/25 for stale claim.

2. PPN received a call from provider for the first time 29/12/2013 to query the claims and they were informed that the account was rejected ,accounts 28/12/2012 and 29/12/2012

3. The first resubmissions that PPN received for service dates 28/12/2012; 29/12/2012 and 29/01/2013 was via a paper claim on the 20/3/2014 ,which were already stale.

4. 20/3/2014 a letter was received from the provider stating that this was their staff fault ,please refer to attachments.

Please note that the claiming period is 4 months therefore these accounts were not resubmitted on time and we have communicated the rejections to the provider. We

therefore advise that you contact the Torga Optical Head office to provide them with this information.

Contact person : Annelie -012 548 443

Or Claire Widgil **********

We then emailed Claire Widgil who completely ignored our email and never responded. We are now handed over for payment.

This is very applauling considering the fact that by no means did the medical aid reject the claims as being no funds available.

We will NEVER and repeat never be visiting any of your stores and as for your customer service is non-existent!!!!
