Pricing too steep

Yesterday we went into the Baywest Mall to test my husbands eyes. Firstly we were told to wait 20 minutes due to someone being in at the moment. We were happy with that. Came back after twenty minutes to sit and wait another 20 minutes. Nobody spoke to us to advise that they are running late. My husband had to go and ask how long still. Test done and pricing supp**** - over R4K for bifocal and tinting and frames. When we said it was too steep we were suddenly given discounted pricing R3100 odd. We were not happy and said we were willing to pay the R150 which is reflecting on the posters on the wall and would like the test results so that we can shop around for a better price. Was asked whether they can first follow up with Bankmed on Monday and will phone me. This afternoon at 4 I had to do the follow up with them. When I said that I wanted the results and would pay for the test, I was advised that the cost is now R300 for the test results. I told them that this is **************** and the note at the desk specified that you could pay for the test if not happy. Why must I suddenly pay double that just for the test results. Ultimately they are mine as we would pay for them as specified on the posters R150. I was told on the phone that the lady would get somebody to phone me back. I am not a happy customer at the moment and feel that the medical aids are being ****** if suddenly one can get over a R1000 discount.
