I went to Torga Optical in October 2018 to do my glasses and everything was fine received my glasses two weeks after and all was okay. Turned out after a month, if not earlier they were giving me a bad reaction on my nose. I had to go pick another frame because I couldn't keep on wearing the ones I had. I used my medical aid at first but when I went to pick a different frame I had to pay cash and I was thankful that they gave me a discount on the new frame. In February I collected my new glasses and on the day I complained that they were loose and the arms were so wide. The lady that assisted me tried burning the arms and make them smaller but the was actually no difference I've been to the the shop about 3 or 4 times since I've received these glasses complaining about how uncomfortable and loose they are. My last time being there I was assisted by the Manager Shoni who tried to also burn them and actually made them even worse cause honestly I even explained to her that I wear these glasses all day everyday and the way she burnt the arms they glasses came so close to my eyes that they didn't even feel straight anymore. I could feel that she was getting irritated by me so I said I will try them out and see how it goes. On Monday I sent an email to find out what the next step is cause I can't take how uncomfortable they are and she had suggested that she will find out from the supplier if they can change the arms to shorter ones. Its been two weeks and still no feedback just to show they are not interested in solving my issue. I actually went to another optimistrist and they advise that if they had the same issue they would have changed the frame from they second complain so I'm being forced to accept such poor quality glasses that I'm gonna have to wear for 2 years? I am so disappointed I really regret walking in Torga optical springs Mall. I have been using Osman optical since I've started wearing glasses which is more than 10years ago and I have never experienced such service and poor quality glasses.
