No information given

About a month ago I had ordered a set of color lenses, I was told they were on back order but I was prepared to wait. They had informed me that there were another set of lenses I could get and would be ready within a week. I gladly accepted that. Couple weeks later, I'd noticed that my lenses started growing little things on them. Took the lenses back showed the optometrist. She had said protein has grown on the lenses because they are a different type of lense. I wasn't informed that I had to use a different solution to keep my lenses from doing that. She then said there is nothing she can do. The suppliers won't take it back. Had I known prior, I wouldn't have complained. Not happy
